For: Single end products (websites, apps, etc.) with paying users ≤ 1,000
Permissions:
- Use in unlimited personal/commercial projects
- Modify to suit your needs
- Can be transferred to clients
Restrictions:
- ❌ Cannot resell "as-is"
- ❌ No SaaS/on-demand applications
- ❌ Max 1,000 end users
Price: Included with base product
2. Extended License
For: Large-scale commercial use (SaaS, multi-site, etc.)
Additional Permissions:
- ✅ Unlimited end users
- ✅ SaaS/on-demand applications allowed
- ✅ Use in products for resale (with modifications)
3. License Types by Product
3.1 WordPress Themes
- Single Site: Standard License
- Unlimited Sites: Extended License
- Includes 1 year of updates & support
3.2 PHP Scripts
- Basic Use: Standard License
- Resale/White-label: Extended License required
3.3 Digital Media (Photos, Audio)
- Standard License for most uses
- Extended License for merchandise/resale
- Attribution optional (set by author)
4. License Enforcement
- License validated via purchase records
- Must retain proof of purchase
- Unauthorized use may result in legal action
5. License Transfer
- Can transfer to clients when work is completed
- Cannot transfer to other developers/agencies
- Original buyer remains responsible for compliance
6. Refund Policy
- License purchases are non-refundable
- Exceptions for non-functional products
- Refunds result in license termination
